About
Mission
The Congressional Biofuels Caucus advocates for strong biofuels policies which meet the demand for reliable and affordable liquid fuels while supporting rural economies, high-paying jobs, and value-added markets for agricultural commodities. The Caucus recognizes that biofuels are key to American energy independence and responsible stewardship of our resources.
Principles
- Nationwide, year-round availability of higher ethanol blends
- Robust RFS levels which reflect domestic biofuels production capacity.
- Timely regulatory decisions and industry compliance to protect the integrity of the RFS.
- Policies which drive innovation, growth, and investment in the biofuels industry.
- Regular review of renewable fuel programs to account for new technology and processes.
